A 3.9 hectare body of water has been built on a site adjacent to the Essendon Football Club and near Melbourne Airport. URBNSURF uses specialised technology to create artificial waves that range in height from 0.6-1.9 metres and lasting up to 32 seconds. The site also boasts a restaurant, a function centre, shops, a running track, a climbing wall and other sporting and leisure facilities. Works involved completion of all built forms, civils, construction, fitout and landscaping across the entire site except for the pool area.
