We completed the supply and installation of new sports lighting at the popular inner city recreation reserve in Prahran. Orrong Romanis Reserve has been a popular place for sport and recreation for the local community for over 100 years, when the Prahran Council developed the former municipal tip and clay quarry into Orrong Park and Romanis Oval, before tennis courts and a pavilion were opened in 1922.
Today the reserve includes two rugby and cricket ovals, plus practice wickets and is home to the Melbourne Rugby Union Club and Toorak Prahran Cricket Club, and the Orrong Park Tennis Centre and Orrong Romanis Recreation Centre.
