As part of Monash Medical Centre’s Emergency Department Expansion and Traffic Improvement Project, the Level 5 Early Works package provides refurbishment and alterations to accommodate Support Spaces workstations and a temporary Adult Short Stay Unit. It involved the strip out of an existing ward to open up the space to create new bed bays, bathrooms, two kitchenettes, a medication room, reception, waiting areas and offices.
