As the only entrance to this 22-storey building with over 4000 occupants, maintaining egress in and out of the building was our client’s key concern throughout works delivery. The build area covering 550m2 involved complex structural elements and was fitted out with unique and bespoke finishes. Externally there have been major changes with new steel and curved façade glazing to extend the lobby into the external space, plus a striking 3D awning above the façade to distinguish the lobby. The refurbishment also included the creation of cold shell retail/café tenancies adjacent to the lobby.
