The purpose of the project was to create a fit-for-purpose, contemporary environment to improve student facilities and create engaging spaces to facilitate collaborative learning. The improvements to the library included new computer desks, five meeting rooms, staff areas, toilets, casual breakout seating spaces, printing areas and two training and research rooms. Another element of this project was the provision of infrastructure works within the level eight plant room to facilitate gas upgrades.
