It was critical to deliver the project seamlessly and with minimal disruption to students and staff especially as the scope of works was concurrent to the end of year examinations. This was achieved by the team working predominantly outside of normal hours and during school holidays. Key elements of the upgrade included demolition of the existing fitout, expansion of the existing layout of the art, graphics and store rooms, installation of full-height glass surrounded by metal cladding to new exterior walls, enlarging the existing central corridor layout to create a gallery/learning/meeting space between the 5 studios and 2 graphics rooms.
