Harris HMC was engaged to fitout the Mercedes me concept store – the first of its kind in Australia and seventh worldwide. With quality craftsmanship imperative to the Mercedes brand, our team successfully delivered this high-end commercial fitout in the new Rialto regeneration development. This outstanding space at the foot of the Rialto Towers features design aesthetics and is a café by day and hosts special events by night to match the Mercedes Benz lifestyle.

This entire fitout required the construction of mezzanine structures and associated stairs. The scope of works included but was not limited to:

  • Concrete works to the ground floor slab
  • Structural steel works to the mezzanine floor
  • Metal works – blackened steel, blackened brass and fin plate frames
  • Carpentry works – doors and timber ceiling
  • Joinery works – wall cladding, furniture, toilet vanities, stone tops and tables
  • Installation of curtains, blinds, natural stone tiling, furniture and dumbwaiter
  • Kitchen fitout with all appliances
  • Switchable glass panels (gauzy glass).

  • Electrical works – power, data and light fittings
  • Hydraulic works – plumbing, gas and fit off
  • AV works – video wall, car display units, touch screens and projectors
