HDP, a commercial construction division of Harris HMC, won the contract to construct Club Delaray – Villawood Properties exclusive resident’s club located within the sustainable and high-quality housing community of Delaray. A unique and architecturally designed facility, HDP delivered an outstanding project driving productivity and value-for-money through early contractor involvement and extensive design development.
The scope of works included:
- Single level suspended slab steel structure constructed on a 4836m2 greenfield site
- Roof with solar panelling and Sonnen battery system
- Peak plaster and exposed ceilings
- Steel canopy/structure over the pool and linked into the building for year-round undercover protection
- Installation of all architectural joinery including fully tiled bathroom/changeroom facilities and kitchen
- Exposed concrete floors in hallway
- Installation of rubber flooring throughout the gymnasium, vinyl plank flooring in multipurpose rooms and carpet in kitchen
- Installation of all new services including fire, security, audio visual, electrical, plumbing and mechanical
- Electrical systems designed to be highly automated/self-functioning
- All external landscaping including timber decking, BBQ area with canopy and extensive exposed aggregate paving around both pools
- Exposed steel structure in the gymnasium
- Roof mounted plant deck with communal gas hot water system
- Installation of ducted air conditioning.
