“In late 2008, Harris HMC was appointed to carry out a major $5M refurbishment of the Victoria Police, Crime Department HQ at 412 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne (an area of 16,000 m2). Delivered within 12 months, the project was very demanding due to the tenant operating twenty four hours a day and the need to decant all groups with minimal inconvenience. Harris HMC developed a complex decanting strategy which was successfully implemented and was able to provide practical building solutions when required, to meet challenging building problems and client requests.
