Broad experience gives confidence

Two and half years ago, Shanne Darker joined Harris HMC with a Bachelor of Construction Management from Deakin University. As a Junior Project Manager he worked alongside experienced Project Managers on a range of projects, learning “the ropes” and gaining a practical background in his profession.

“Every project is different,” says Shanne. “Every client is different and each project has its own challenges. The opportunities I’ve had at Harris HMC have given me diverse experience and the confidence to support complex project delivery.”

Today, still with Harris HMC, Shanne is a capable Project Manager, leading project teams to complete sizable projects on time, on budget and to client satisfaction.

Amazing support from day one

Nina Farrugia joined Harris HMC Interiors six years ago as a Contract Administrator. Nina trained for her new position "on-the-job" under the guidance of her manager and a helpful team of colleagues.

"Contract Administration is a busy and challenging position and I’ve had amazing support here from day one to learn the skills I need to do it well," says Nina. "Once I’d built my competency for that role, my manager encouraged my special interest in estimating and arranged for me to skill-up on the job, while still undertaking contract administration."
